The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has a bangin’ bod, and the actress’ abs are definitely her most envy-inducing feature.
Unfortunately, you can’t get a taught tummy like Kaley’s by sitting around with a bunch of nerds and eating Chinese takeout every night, but you can do the exact ab workout that the actress uses to stay tight and toned.
Kaley’s trainer, George C. King, recently talked to People magazine about how Kaley stays in such great shape, and he was nice enough to share her full ab routine. Here’s the three-exercise ab circuit that Kaley does twice a week:

There’s a reason this classic exercise is a part of Kaley Cuoco’s workout routine: it works if you do it right. To do a proper sit-up, make sure that you don’t pull your neck forward with your hands as you come up. Try to keep your spine straight and really concentrate on making your ab muscles do all the work.
15 hanging knee lifts
For this exercise, all you have to do is hang on a bar and lift your knees up to your chest. Hold them there for a moment before lowering your legs back down. Make sure that you don’t try to create momentum by swinging during the exercise – once again, you want to make sure that your abs do all the work. If you can’t raise your knees all the way up to your chest without swinging, it’s better to simply raise them as high as you can.
60-second elbow plank on the ground or on a stability ball
This is just the basic plank position with your forearms flat on the ground. Make sure that you align your shoulders over your elbows, and focus on holding your stomach up so that your body stays in a straight line.
Kaley performs three to four circuits with 60 to 90 seconds rest between each.
Unfortunately, you won’t get a body like Kaley’s by performing these exercises alone. She includes them in an hour-long strength training session that she does twice a week. Her session also includes lots of lower body work like lunges, squat jumps, regular squats, leg curls, and dead lifts. For cardio, Kaley Cuoco loves going to SoulCycle classes, and she also enjoys de-stressing by practicing yoga, riding horses, and going for hikes.
